Sujata Kuti
The story of Sujata is so inspiring. She brought a bowl of porridge from her humble home and presented it to the ascetic in starvation and told him that he cannot find Truth and the way without a living body to experience that. A truth that imparted the wisdom that guided the Buddha to realize his goal. Such a simple story, but with such profound wisdom and meaning. The Sujata Kuti is a simple monument to the great episode, that one needs to search out away from all the beautiful monasteries and great temples. It's manned by a few dedicated people, nothing fancy or impressive. But, nevertheless the soul of Buddhism lies there. A contribution to the upkeep of the place is well worth it.
