Dungeshwari Cave Temples
This cave temple is hardly 20 Km from Bodhitree temple and a must visit to every devotee. Lord Buddha spent 6 years of his time meditating in this small cave before he embarked to meditate under Bodhitree where he eventually was enlightened! I meditated in this cave for 30-40 minutes but it was my one of the most satisfying meditation. This cave also has two midsized halls. We did group meditation in one of them. It has a statue of Buddha showing his frail body due to prolonged fasting which he eventually gave up after accepting milk and food from Sujata.
